It is my pleasure to recommend Rudi and Sharon Swanepoel
to all of my pastor colleagues. In advance of your
invitation for them to come I would like to describe
them to you. They are energetic, sincere, confidently
Pentecostal, gifted, and sensitive to the leading of the
Holy Spirit.
Their service to the church is more than just preaching,
it is ministry. They are unlike any other Evangelist
that I have ever had. They are a pastor’s best friend
and they will be used just as described in Ephesians
4:11
“It was he who gave some to be
apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists,
and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's
people for works of service, so that the body of Christ
may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith
and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become
mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness
of Christ.”
Our entire church body was lifted up
and edified by their most recent time of ministry at
Praise Assembly. A dozen were baptized in the Holy
Spirit in the Sunday evening service, the Word of
knowledge was properly exercised, and many were slain in
the Spirit. Although their time with us was brief,
their ministry created a real excitement among our
congregation to the point where our people regularly
brought outsiders to the meetings. The best way to
describe the services would be to say that they were
full of the “Word with signs following”, Mk 16:20. We
will be scheduling Rudi and Sharon to come back in the
very near future.
