I wrote this article after a visitation from the Lord. The Lord spoke to me about a number of things concerning the
season the Church is entering in and said: "There will be revelations
that will produce revolutions."
The ministry of the apostle Paul was
characterized with sharing tremendous revelations of the mysteries
of God. He evidently gained an understanding far beyond the average
person when it came to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Yes,
he was a great and disciplined student, but human wisdom had nothing to do with
it. When Paul ministered he did not try to show off his wisdom and understanding
of philosophical concepts. He rather focused all his attention and energy on
Jesus Christ, the Way, Life and Truth. (John 14:6) His curious mind found total
satisfaction with the revealed Christ. “I resolved to know nothing, to make a
display of nothing, and to be conscious of nothing among you except Jesus Christ
(the Messiah) and Him crucified.” 1 Cor. 2:2
- Skilled in “what” law?
- Paul was not always like this. His days before he had a personal
encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus were characterized with a
lack of understanding. It was a carnal obsession to keep the faith pure,
only he was in the wrong faith. Faith not in a Person but an
institution, not personal but cold as ice, void of divine relationship
focused on religious recognition. Remarkably the Hebrew origin of the
word “Damascus” means “to be skilled in the law” That was Saul! Working
diligently on his way to be skilled in the law. When we take a careful
look at the Church of Jesus Christ today we'll notice more than one Saul
in pursuit of the same, on their way to Damascus. They're majoring on
the law of religion and tradition, completely lacking understanding of
intimacy, spontaneity and Spirit exuberance. Religion has become a
science rather than experience. Amazingly most Sauls are not aware of
their erroneous stance. We've learned how to do church and do it good.
How to gather an audience and maintain a level of interest. We use
writings of today's “high priests” to condemn those outside the
boundaries of our institutions, denominations or paradigm. How much
effort is misdirected to futile attempts to constrain people? There is a
Saul lurking in every one of us!
-
- Then Saul met Jesus! He saw the Light! For three days that was all
he could see! He encountered the law of the Spirit of life in Christ
Jesus and became skilled in it rather than the law of sin and death.
This became the turning point in his life, the place of radical and
complete change. Even his name changed. Christ was revealed to him. What
a revelation! From this moment on Paul preached from this revelation. In
fact the word revelation means “to take off the cover”. All concealment
is removed. Revelation does not focus on the packaging but rather the
content. It's internal not external. According to the prophetic promise
of the Lord the Church is entering a season of revelations that will
produce revolutions. We are seeing an unveiling of scripture on a
tremendous new level. It will be as if another layer / covering will be
pealed away by the Lord, an unveiling of sorts.
-
- A complete turn-around
- Paul's entire existence was revolutionized. With revolution we mean
“a turning” rather than revolt. Revolutions turn things around. It
speaks of activity not passivity. It creates a momentous replacement.
Ezekiel saw a Spirit revolution and described it as a wheel within a
wheel that was turning. We use the term “where the rubber hits the road”
to describe the reality of a situation. In order to create advancement
in the Kingdom old rubber must make way for new rubber in a continuous
way. The wheel must keep turning if we are to reach our destiny in
Christ, a dynamic movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
-
- Paul made it his mission to delve into the mysteries of God. (1 Cor
2:7) The Lord gave him the amazing ability to reveal these with clarity
and simplicity, on a level the people could grasp it. Get ready because
old truths are going to be revealed in fresh ways, new truths are going
to be revealed to those willing to discover them.
-
- Demonstrations of Revelations
- The words Paul used were set forth “in demonstration of the Holy
Spirit and power of God” 1 Cor 2:4. He did not try to explain what the
Lord showed him, he demonstrated it. He did not focus on theory but
practice. This is truly remarkable! Paul reached a level of oratory
skill that we seldom see today. Skills that did not rely in word
structure or tense purity but his words were heavy with the power of
God! His words demonstrated the power of God, displayed the ministry of
the Holy Spirit. He purposefully connected to the Holy Spirit so that
when he spoke he disappeared and the Holy Spirit took it from there.
-
- Prepare your hearts for demonstrations of the Holy Spirit in the
words of God's people! We will soon see amazing things that were once
hidden before displayed through the demonstrations of the Holy Spirit.
Get ready for higher heights and deeper depths.
