    Psalm 12:6
The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.
God has plans and promises for your life! Tremendous plans and strategies that will lead you to success and victory. Plans that will prosper you, develop you and make you a solid, well rounded person, poised to bless the generations to come. The Lord reveals these plans through His words deposited in your life.

    Activated Potential
According to Psalm 12:6 the words and promises of the Lord are pure. Pure here means "to be bright, to be pure, unadulterated, uncontaminated, clean". When the Lord speaks into your life you know confidently that what is deposited in you is clean, pure, holy, right and bright. His words does not carry contaminants of humanism, materialism, unbelief, sin, or worldly things. They carry His complete will for your life, along with the power to accomplish that revealed will. When deposited into your spirit His promises become activated potential that will help you produce and realize what was promised and said. According to John 1:1-14 we know that Jesus is the Word of God. As the Living Word of God He actively works in you to accomplish what you could not on your own. He orchestrates things behind the scenes of the natural realm to thrust you towards Divine destiny.

Like Silver Purified in an Earthen Furnace
We read in 2 Corinthians 4:7 that we carry a precious treasure in earthen vessels that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. The God portion in you is the precious treasure carried in the unlikely, porous, brittle and breakable you! When we tie this verse with Psalm 12:6 we find an amazing revelation. Our earthen vessel becomes an earthen furnace in which the words and promises of God in us are purified seven times over! The Hebrew word for furnace speaks of the process of completing something. This is a beautiful thought. The words and promises of the Lord is completed, perfected, activated in you by process of fire. Add the fire of God ( Hebrews 12:29, Psalm 97:3, Isaiah 6:6-7, Matthew 3:16) to the word of God in you and your spirit becomes a fiery furnace that compliments and completes the words God spoke to you!

It is interesting to note that the enemy will threaten you with a fiery furnace to intimidate you not to stand on the convictions of your faith. (Just like he did to Daniel's friends in Daniel 3) He'll use scary tactics to keep you out of the fiery furnace. Ever wondered why? Because in the fiery furnace the word of God is activated. Daniel's friends met with Jesus amidst the fire! Do not let the enemy douse the Holy Spirit fire in you. Without that fire you are no more than a brittle clay pot. With that fire burning you are the furnace that causes the words and promises of God to be completed and activated in you!

The word "purified" here means to strain, to extract, to clarify. It is in the furnace of your soul where the Lord can extract specific, clear and "now" revelations and words from His whole council to lead you towards your destiny. Seven denotes perfection in the Bible. This process of allowing the words and promises of the Lord to be engulfed in the fire of the Holy Spirit in you renders the end product a perfectly pure instruction or word or promise more valuable than before.

So allow the words and the promises of the Lord in you to be tempered and purified seven times over. May every word you hold onto consist of the full council of God for your life devoid of any and all contaminants. May your initial and partial interpretations make way for the true Divine revelation and council regarding all that is in you! Allow that every prophetic promise given to you time in the earthen furnace of your soul. Ask the Lord from Whom all blessings flow to breath and burn on the promise so the end result be a pure, unadulterated and tangible blessing in your life!
